About Bluejayders

A studio named after a bluejay, run by two developers.

Bluejayders is a two-person studio we started in college. The name is half bird, half builder — the bluejay for the colour and the curiosity, and the “-ers” for the two of us behind the keyboard.

Where it started

A name on a whiteboard.

We were students who would rather build than talk about building. Our first product was a badminton court booking app — something we needed ourselves and figured the world needed too. We shipped it. The world didn’t agree. That was the entire lesson plan for the year.

We took a long detour through different jobs, different cities, and different problems. Then we came back to building, this time with a clearer view of what shipping actually costs and what audiences actually pay attention to. Relevant News is the result of that second start.

We are not pretending to know exactly what Bluejayders is yet. That’s the honest part. Relevant is our current bet — and the studio is the long-term commitment.

The two of us

The founders.

Two technical co-founders. One repo. A lot of late-night Slack.

What we believe

Three principles we keep coming back to.

01

Build, then talk

We’d rather show a rough prototype than describe a polished idea. Talk is cheap; shipping is the conversation.

02

Small teams ship

Two people, one repo, one shared brain. We choose tools and constraints that let two builders move like ten.

03

AI is a tool, not a thesis

We use AI where it earns its place. Not every product needs it — but when it fits, it should feel inevitable.
